Retreat

I am just back from our Quilt retreat and I had a blast!! There were 14 of us quilters at The Elm Hurst Inn, and we sewed our little hearts out! We had the entire Carriage House to ourselves and it was wonderful. It is such a treat to surround yourself with creative women, sewing machines and really good food. There were lots of projects started and completed. We held a very cut throat version of a jelly roll race, I came in second (only because someone stole my scissors!) by 20 seconds. I think Donna set a new world record with a finishing time of 28 minutes and 28 seconds! We were definitely in the presence of greatness. To the women that joined me, Thank you for spending a lovely weekend with me and to everyone else, hope to see you at the spring retreat in March!!
