Tyler’s Quilt

Here is a picture of a quilt I recently finished for my nephew Tyler. Tyler is my favorite gaming opponent, he is a super gaming genius and as hard as I try, I just can’t beat him! He is calm under pressure and likes to find multiple ways to beat me, I’m pretty sure he is going to take over the world someday. I have a bit of a competitive streak, and so I can’t often find people to play with, but Tyler is always up to the challenge! I was so excited when he expressed an interest in having a quilt of his own, so of course I said that I would love to make him one! We play the game Connect Four the most so when he asked for the quilt I knew I had to incorporate that theme somehow. I started with a pattern from Atkinson designs and modified it to suit what I wanted. Tyler said he wanted an orange quilt and he liked lime green, so I stuck to what he wanted as much as I could and I am very happy with the result. I just may have to have him start picking colours for me more often!
